I am a first year student at the University of Leeds studying Fine Art. I have obtained my Grade 8 piano and Grade 7 violin along with doing GCSE and A-Level Music. I am a very lively and patient teacher and have had experience in giving piano lessons before.
I'm Holly, 17, a student in Leeds and an avid musician. I'm part of many musical groups myself and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Music should be rewarding and fun even whilst learning! Both academic and physical aspects of music help build non verbal reasoning and skills in analysing visual information.
I teach my students differently and focus on different skill sets depending on the students strong-suits and not-so-strong suits. I prefer to focus on training the playing by ear skill, as it is one that is very important for any musician. I can work towards Grades with students if they so wish and I can also incorporate the teaching of Music Theory into my lessons.
The teaching methods will be focused to develop a strong foundation by understanding basic theoretic knowledge. A solemn attention will be given to getting the right technique, since it is always better to understand it the right way at the beginning. Flexible timings and classes according to the needs of the students can be arranged.
I'm a 27-year-old pianist, music producer and music tutor based in Leeds. Over the past few years I have accumulated a vast wealth of experience in the music industry. I specialise in Pop and modern music, and have extensive industry experience. My original material has received radioplay on BBC Radio 1 and reached #10 in the Spotify UK Viral Chart in the summer of 2017. My aim is to base my lessons around you and what you enjoy, whilst also providing you with a solid foundation of technique and performance tips, to put into practise in your everyday singing.
I'm an enthusiastic Classical Pianist and Keyboard player with 10+ years of performing experience. I have recently graduated from Leeds College of Music where I specialised in Classical Piano Performance and I am excited to pass on all I have learned to students of any age and level of play.
A university graduate who has participated in music competitions and concerts locally and nationally from a young age. Achieved grade 8 at aged 13. I will be pushing you to your potential by firstly building your foundations in theory and practice, then coaching you to find your own musical style.

Natalie provides one-to-one tuition in the comfort of her Music Studio using a top of the range Yamaha Upright Piano. She is also able to travel to students homes if required. Her aim is to share her passion for music with others and to provide fun, enthusiastic lessons.
I can improve your voice by giving you the tools that the pro's use to build theirs. I'll improve your confidence on the stage and off it, boost your knowledge of your own voice and optimise your ability as a performer, all from day one. Singing is a science. How to sing well isn't very flexible, there is a right way, and hundreds of uniquely wrong ways.
It's never too late to learn a musical instrument. An easygoing and friendly approach in all lessons. Nurturing hidden talent with a passion for music. Exam and Performance opportunities, or just for fun. Classical, Pop or Musical Theatre.
I have been teaching music in primary and high school for over 26 years. I cater for individual needs i.e. Music genres, exam prep., special needs. Lessons take place in my fully equipped studio, where students can try other instruments. Pupils can follow ABRSM, Rock School or Trinity or just learn for fun.
In the initial assessment I administer simple pitch, rhythm and listening tests to assess strengths and weaknesses. I use this information to plan sequences of lesson which specifically meet the needs of the individuals. Also, when students progress to a sufficient standard I like to give students opportunity to have some influence over the direction of their learning.
I teach piano and music theory to both adults and children of any standard. I am a very patient person. I have been teaching for over thirty years and I enjoy encouraging my pupils to progress at their own pace.
In teaching I would aim not to simply teach the student the mechanical method of playing the piano, but also give an understanding of how the music works by discussion. My methodology would be to get my students as passionate about the music as I am, so that they will be motivated by genuine interest. I would augment this with exercises and scales generally following ABRSM grades.
With 10 years of experience, I am comfortable teaching and playing different styles of music, from classical piano to play in order to impress your family and friends, to modern keyboard suitable for playing in a band. I approach each lesson with the student in mind. I myself saw multiple different teachers and have therefore picked up a variety of styles throughout the years.
