I approach each lesson by catering to each student individually to help strengthen your weaknesses and improve as a singer and performer. I am very open to suggestions on what you personally would like to learn from me and work more as a mentor than teacher.
I am a young, enthusiastic music graduate who has held prior teaching experience in an international boarding school. I have taught students from a variety of backgrounds, abilities and ages through comprehensive and well-structured lessons.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Classical singing and I've already started supplying in Primary schools and tutoring piano, guitar and singing in private. I deliver the lessons at client's address only and I'm considering students from the age of 7+.
When teaching I spend a lot of time working on vocal singing training and on developing correct breathing techniques to enable students to develop strength and a range of voice. Children and adults will ultimately derive confidence and joy from the ability to manage one's voice and to sing perfectly.
My lessons for adults contain: Heating and preoaratikn of vocal cords, breathing control, knowledge about the operation of the instrument, placement of the body, hearing training, musical theory.
For Classical guitar I structure my teaching around the Grades as appropriate s. As well as emphasising technique I feel it also really important to develop musicianship. This includes understanding harmony. For beginners I would focus on duets with the tutor.
Holistic, safe and encouraging. Whatever and wherever I teach, I know how to get the best out of an individual and create a safe space for that to happen in. With industry experience, only quality teaching will happen.
Music lessons with me will be tailored to your goals and what you are looking to excel in whether it be, Sight Reading, Vocals and Music Theory. As an Assistant Co-Ordinator at a Tuition Centre I organise termly presentation which involves producing drama and musicals which allows me to also look at stage presence and combining the elements of music and drama together.
My lessons will consist of discovering your own unique voice and utilizing it in a style of your choosing. I will also help you apply music theoretical skills to support your singing and help you transfer these skills to any other style/song I aim to help you discover new singing exercises to warm-up with, which aim to improve your pitch and singing capabilities.
My approach to teaching is the love of music. I want students to engage with the subject and enjoy what they are doing whilst they develop their skills and knowledge. I like to tailor my lessons to the individual and their desired outcome.

My name is Jaison Jeyaventhan and I have completed my Grade 8 in Piano and Singing. I can teach for all grades in both Singing and Piano and also for Music Theory! I can make sure you not only work hard in music but also have fun as well! Not everyone likes the concept of exams, so I will also make sure that you can play or sing music that you like singing (i.e. pop songs).
I approach each lesson as a time to be creative and to have fun! Each student should walk away feeling confident, at ease and inspired! There are no wrong answers when it comes to singing with passion and writing with feeling, and I always plan to make each student feel comfortable and to go at their own pace.
My teaching methodology is making it fun because music should be a joy but also pushing the individual. The environment I set is a positive one of confidence building and growth not just Musically but as a person.

I base my Classes on building confidence on the students and I seek to make them self-sufficient at the moment of the Individual practice of the instrument. Love and enthusiasm are the main keys to my Work's Methodology to make sure I'm building Great Music Professionals.
Do you want to take your musical ability to the next level? Are you interested in singing, playing piano and/or songwriting? If so, I can help you to realise your potential in music. Perhaps you want to become more confident as a performer or brush up for an important audition. My experience ranges from classical to jazz to music theatre to pop in performance and I also enjoy writing my own songs.
I teach in the genres of Pop, Soul, Folk and Jazz Vocals. I try to create a warm environment for my students as singing is all about self-expression and having fun while doing so. I work from my home studio in Queens Park, London but I am also willing to travel if need be.
You can never reach the end when studying music and there’s always more to learn! I love the challenges and awards that teaching brings and there’s nothing better than achieving something together with a student. Through my own experiences, trials and errors, I’ve become very sensitive to the needs of my students and I always tailor my lessons according to the person.
I'm generally a friendly and approachable person, though I can sometimes teach with a firmness. I work on developing technique while also teaching how to apply it in both a live and studio setting. I always start with a warm up in my lessons but aim to safely push a pupil to their fullest potential. I don't just like to teach, I wish to inspire.
I would give lessons to anyone looking to begin learning piano, working up to Grade 5, and including Grade 5 theory. I am enthusiastic in my teaching, and place a real emphasis on the interpretation of playing a piece of music. I would start off teaching the theory aspect, so that my pupils put the theory into practise.
