My name is Gabby and I am currently studying for a PhD in Leisure Studies at Leeds Beckett University. I have an extensive background in sociology having taught at GCSE Level, AS Level, A-Level and Undergraduate level.
I am willing to give lessons to anyone who needs them, no matter what level. I tend to base lessons around assessing what someone knows and doesn't know and progressing from there. Progression can be made via information being taught through use of videos, explanations and online sources and then can be assessed via testing new knowledge.
My style of teaching would mainly consist of doing 1-1 sessions as I believe are more effective and easy to transfer knowledge. I will include chilled out lessons (fully education, e.g. quiz and challenges relating to the topic) as I believe these are needed aside of the workload to ease of stress.

I'm a first year philosophy student at the University of Leeds and aim to teach those in need of support in RE from GCSE to A Level, which includes philosophy, theology and ethics. My techniques focus on finding the perfect revision method to fit your needs and your interests in the topic or outside of it.
In 2015 I graduated from a Sociology degree and more recently I took up a Masters in Contemporary Art. My interests vary and expand across the disciplines. My tutorials would be organized around critical and analytical discussions on themes and subjects of interest to my students that deal with contemporary or classical social debates.
I would say my teaching methods is very conversation because if you treat it like a good conversation , it's more enjoyable therefore you learn a lot more and you get to understand how people view things differently

Anything you require, whether it is answering questions, helping with essays or assignments, or a general introduction. I have a BA Honors in International Relations as well as a MA in Security, Terrorism and Insurgency. I also have knowledge in Sociology, History and Politics.
Learning should not be a chore, it should be fun and interesting and done in a way that students can apply to their everyday life.
