My teaching method is starting with the basics and slowly building up a knowledge base so the student can fully understand the subject. I do this through an interactive style, rather than just talking at the student as I want to engage them. I also set weekly essays to assess the progress made during that week on the material we have covered. I have tutored friends at university and college.
My teaching method is one of involvement and encouragement. I understand that it takes people different times to understand things, so I would cater to this. I feel that one-on-one tutoring allows this to come out best, but classes can be taught in this way too.
I believe the best way to learn subjects such as history and politics is to thoroughly engage in the subject matter at hand. To do this, I believe that techniques such as debates, conversations and mixed media learning resources are far more useful than the archaic method of purely book-led learning.
My teaching method is to discuss as much as possible the psychological theories and studies that make the discipline so fascinating. I believe the best way for me to teach is to be a sounding board for the students to share ideas and their understanding of their studies whatever level they may be.
Hello, my name is Poonam and I am a personable tutor capable of catering to multiple different learning styles. I am a University graduate, where I studied International Relations and Peace studies and achieved a Upper Second class honours. I am also a masters student, and will be graduating in December 2018 with a MA in Security, Terrorism and Insurgency studies.
My teaching method is one which pushes people to try difficult tasks as that often gets the best results , whilst ensuring that the student is having fun and feels as though they are in a safe environment
I base my teaching methods personally to a students request. I can offer condensed notes, debates, lecturing or visual learning. Personally, I suggest discussing the subject in order to make it as interesting and easy to understand as possible. Students are free to take or request notes.
