I am currently completing my PhD and have taught students from school to masters level. I am a firm believe in developing both content knowledge and academic skills. I place an emphasis on developing competencies and approaches to learning that should eventually result in more empowered learning.
I focus on revision based work with an emphasis on consolidation so that we may give each section the necessary attention and by going through past papers the learner can become well acquainted with the structure of the paper and perform to the best of their ability.
There is no universal way to learn so my teaching style is flexible and adapted in order to suit the student.
My classes will provide you with the knowledge and exam skills needed to achieve an outstanding grade.

My teaching approach is essay based. The most vital element of A level sociology is that you are able to meet the requirements of questions you're set, therefore, we should learn the material in this format. Therefore, my lessons focus on exploring a topic and then looking at potential questions that could asked on that to consolidate the knowledge.
I provide GCSE level Sociology tutoring. I got an A in my sociology GCSE exam, now studying it at A levels. My lessons consist of working with the student by going through their syllabus and their weaknesses- this will include Practising exam techniques and questions, making sure they achieve the best grades possible.
I am an aspiring Psychologist and would like to share my knowledge and passion for the subject with others. At AS Level, I achieved A* in Psychology and an A in Sociology - currently, with four months left, my predictions are the exact same.
I believe that good teaching and learning is based upon: 1) developing understanding of subject matter through critical thinking and enquiry 2) developing self-belief, self-confidence and self-expression 3) combining the above with independent study. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I work in most aspects of management and social sciences, from foundation degree to PhD.
I believe students should be encouraged to assess their progress and understanding regularly to fully comprehend the level they are working at and how we can work to improve this. I think that students should be confident in their learning and be open when asking for any help and guidance so that they can attain their academic goals and do their personal best.
I give lessons to students studying psychology. The students vary in their ability and grades.
I have an infectious interest in my subject, an affable personality and an insatiable appetite for knowledge. I work closely with students to evolve strategies to improve their academic self-sufficiency, developing the curricula and producing creative and exciting lesson plans accordingly.

My classes are based on the idea that it's ok to need more time, i approach each topic by figuring out the best way to not only help you remember key factors, but ways to help you understand them.
My teaching method is fundamentally collaborative. The pupil and I will identify the areas which need the closest attention and work together to create a comprehensive overview of their subject in accordance with the curriculum and exam specifications.
