I like to keep lessons fun and relatively informal, meaning the work we do is more of a dialogue than just copying notes from a board. I find students learn best when they are active in lessons where they have to think for themselves.
My method of teaching is to give as little input as possible to allow the student to do most of the thinking themselves. This allows them to fully understand the topics they are required to and so they have an ingrained knowledge of the subject area with which it becomes easier to revise with and achieve a higher grade at GCSE.
I include some teamwork exercises, I make time for creativity and use it to make learning fun. Students learn better when engaged, I have interactive classroom discussions. For example, after a short lecture, I encourage students to share stories related to the content. Humour is an effective medium of teaching. Everyone loves a teacher with an infectious sense of humor.
I would like to teach the younger generation as I'm young at the moment, In my lessons I will start with an objective, go through the questions with you and how to solve it then let you try it out yourself.
The first and foremost is to understand rather than memorize and this is the key in having fun while learning Maths
I use broad range of teaching strategies and lesson planing as per the need of the student to get desired and best learning experience

I have always loved maths and will make sure my students do too. I don't believe is homework's rather I love to teach everything in class, revision is the back bone to everything I teach. Try me you won't regret it.
As a qualified teacher holding a first class degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), I can vary my instructional strategy to suit the pupils' learning needs. I have taught Year 6-Year 13 throughout my teaching career so I understand that different ages/subjects require tailored lesson plans.
I have prepared students for A levels exams before and noticed that the best technique in studying for GCSE/A level exams is working with past papers as much as possible. Students can have the knowledge required by the specification, but without knowing the answering method required by each specification board, even half of the marks can be lost.
My strategy is to allow the student to take on a challenge to give them a better understanding of questions and then point them in the right direction when they begin to struggle. I see this method as very efficient as the student will get to learn to tackle questions more effectively.
I approach each topic at the basic level and build brick by brick as far as possible, enabling the student to see clearly their progression. As I teach a range of abilities and age groups I am extremely flexible with my approach adapting where I need to and using many different methods of teaching ensuring challenge all the time.
Where possible I like to make my teaching as practical as possible, as I have a belief that the learning is in the doing. I allow the student to move at their own pace and work to curriculum / 11+ level at the pace of the child. I can follow my own programme of study or tailor it to fit the study of the students school learning.
I'm an A-level student studying maths, biology, chemistry and psychology and I offer tuition to both primary and secondary students (including GCSE and AS) I use a "I do, We do, You do" method, whereby I explain the topic and give examples of questions whilst solving them, then I ask the tutee to attempt a question whilst still explaining it and then the tutee doing a set of questions which are...
- Classes Students attend the centre once a week for approximately 30 minutes per subject. During this time, centre staff observe students completing their work and offer guidance, advice and praise. Before leaving with their homework, students will receive feedback on their progress and current targets.
I describe my approach to teaching as patient and relaxed. I understand what it is like to prepare for exams and how helpful it can be to have somebody explain a theory or concept that you just can't seem to get your head around, or to simply go through exercises with you.
My teaching method is to solely focus on building a good foundation for students because, without one, it would be very difficult for them to grasp further concepts. Lesson structure would include revising topics that are being taught in their current classes, visiting topics which will be taught in the future, and going through any homework queries that the student might need help on.
With recent changes to the Maths curriculum for schools, it is vital to have the right kind of help in order to do succeed.
I am very friendly and get along well with most people. My main aim is to help all types of learners: kinsthetic, auditory and visual.I hope to have them working at a level higher than what is expected.
I am looking to tutor people who need a little extra help with their maths knowledge, using skills and methods are am immersed in dailynworking as a Primary school Higher Level Teaching assistant. Do you need help with Algebra,BODMAS, long division and multiplication? I may be the tutor foe you.
I am direct to the point with my teaching, knowing why something is what it is is crucial, knowing the facts alone is not enough. Come to me if you not only want to do well but excel in your understanding and depth of your knowledge.
I focus on revision based work with an emphasis on core mechanics that allow the student to focus on what they're struggling with and going through past papers so that they can understand the work better and excel in the final exams.
I am friendly and encouraging, I believe that some people just need a little extra time to get their head around some of the concepts in maths.
1. Prior planning: Every session will be planned beforehand to have uninterrupted and engaging session. 2. Goal driven: All sessions will be driven by a goal. It's will be either a student's or mine. These will be discussed with the student while planning. 3. Before starting a session i will speak with the student regarding their progress and what they feel about it whenever necessary. 4.
My teaching method depends on what the student needs as there’s not necessarily a “one-size-fits-all” methodology. In terms of Mathematics, I explain the concept in the most simple way possible and change the way I change it if necessary so that the student has the same vision of the concept as I do.
My teaching method is one of discovery, bringing rigour and challenge to the students I tutor so they can tackle more difficult and challenging questions without fear. I provide a friendly environment which motivates students to learn maths without fear. I am an external examiner for GCSE exams and thus I know what skills to teach students when answering questions.
