I tutor up to National 5 level and tailor my lessons to the student's individual needs. I ensure I clearly explain each aspect of the topic and work through examples to consolidate the student's learning. This can also act as a supported study session near exam time.
My teaching methodology is based on the use of clear examples through demonstration and discussion on specific problem-areas that are of interest to the students.
My prof told me one day that if you can't explain a subject to all levels you need to study that subject . I am enthusiastic learner, with a lot of passion to share discuss and demonstrate engineering subjects to all levels (i.e. up to undergraduate level). Please contact if you have questions.
My teaching method would be more based on helping with individual problems the student may have by working through them and try explain things in different ways so the student gains an understanding of what they are actually doing allowing them to tackle similar problems.
I am happy to tutor Higher/Advanced Higher students with any level of difficulty. First lesson will be spent with the student to assess which areas are most important to cover and what the student requires to be helped with.

Very patient and adaptable to different learning styles and needs. Currently I am teaching Mathematics, Physics, Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics. I can also help with Computational Fluid Dynamics programs if there is an interest.
I use repetition in my lessons, although it may not be the most fun at times, it has proven successful with everyone that I have helped as long as they have put the work in, I create my own questions that I give to my students, this allows me to gauge how much work has to be done to achieve their goal.
I am able to cover past course work or teach entirely new content. In addition it would be possible to provide new course notes. Having just finished school myself gives me a good understanding of current SQA exams.
I am a easy going tutor that just so happens to be a student also in my first year University(therefore School coursework and curriculum are still very fresh) at West of Scotland Paisley. I am a second-year student at Glasgow university, studying Mathematics and Statistics. Continuing to study Mathematics in tertiary education, I am perfectly placed to tutor those in the same position I was only a few years ago due to my familiarity with the courses in question.
I enjoy teaching students by working through example questions after a basic explanation of the background theory. With this interactive approach, I encourage students to ask questions as much as possible while they gain experience in working through problems which gradually increase in difficulty.

As i am an undergraduate student i have a grip on my subjects all levels below that. The way i like to teach is by first explaining a topic then giving the students a lot of questions to practice, because it is very important not just to understand the subjects but also remember how to approach different questions.
My teaching methodology is to make sure you understand what is actually going on and not just how to answer a question by approaching topics from a range of angles .

Students easily feel close to me, as such, they are not ashamed to raise any doubts when the time comes. Friendly, patient, and a good listener.
Hi there, I have an BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow and got top marks in mathematics all the way through School. I didn't start out being good at maths it was something I struggled with and learned how to be good at through practice.
The teaching philosophy that I like to apply is to seek better results by study techniques, focusing on how to study more than just solving homework. however, I am flexible to every methodology. I prefer to apply different pedagogical tools, not just solving the problem of the day but looking for a solution in a wider range.
Currently, I am studying Maths and Chemistry at the university of Glasgow and I am willing to give lessons for mathematics and chemistry to high school students.
