I start by teaching the basics of music theory such as treble clef reading I learnt it by knowing that the lines on the stave are FACE
Everyone loves music. Yet, creating the sound is not easy even if you have an instrument in your hand. And this is why I always make sure my students are progressing as well as they are enjoying the lessons so they are not discouraged but motivated to practise. In the past I went to daily music school so my knowledge of music is very broad. I’m playing piano and violin.
My name is Magdalina and I am a first- year student at the Royal Academy of Music in London. I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, where i graduated the National School of Music with Violin Performance and a Professional Qualification Certificate. I would like to give lessons to young children, either beginners or intermediate.
I am Clara Garde, a Master1 violin student at The Royal College of Music. I also play harp as a high level, and I give lessons in both instruments for all levels.
I am a self employed violinist living and working in London, having graduated from the Royal College of Music with a first class degree in 2015.
Hello, I am a Masters graduate of UCL who is passionate about the violin and viola, keen to help any willing student improve their string-playing! I have been playing the violin for 16 years and the viola for 9 years with Grade 8 distinctions on both instruments and have vast experience in all kinds of string-playing from orchestras to live bands.
I teach the violin privately following the Suzuki technic and also others methods to beginners until advanced students. I have a friendly competitive spirit. I take the improvement of my students very seriously and take great care to tailor my lessons to the different ambitions and goals of each student, whether that be a desire for a career in music or to play the violin as a hobby.
I am a very enthusiastic and patient teacher, trying to create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom and I adjust the technical methods according to each student's individual needs. I like to make the violin lesson as a time of entairtainment and joy and not a strict/boring class.
My aim is to help beginners develop a passion for the violin from an early age. My lessons will be fun, but also have a focus on technique, as it is vital that students develop good technical habits from the start of their violin experience. I offer lessons to beginners up to grade 3.
I play violin since i was 7 years old. First 10 years in boarding School for musically gifted children, and after on Faculty of music, at University of Arts in Belgrade. Meanwhile i meat a lot of different students, professors, and simple music lovers. What i consider as i really important thing in teaching is, that you must teach your student to love music and instrument you teach.
I assess what style of music you enjoy and cater the lessons based on your personal musical goals. I use my various techniques for learning to play better, faster and to retain the knowledge so that you can see yourself progressing quickly also.
I am studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on a scholarship, previously having studied as a specialist Musician at Wells Cathedral School. Music is my greatest passion, so I am happy to teach anyone - even those who are unsure, just want to try out music or play only as a hobby. On the other hand I also teach serious students who are aspiring musicians.
I have studied violin since the age of four and play to a grade 8 standard. I am classically trained but also enjoy playing folk music. I learnt using Suzuki method and I am willing to teach in this way but would suggest learning sheet music if you don't already read music. I am patient and willing to teach any age upwards of 3.
Music is a tool to connect with others and ourselves. Through singing we don’t just build a bridge with an audience but with our bodies and our own emotions. Singing involves every little part of our system, from our lungs and our diaphragm to breathe and project, to our brains and our heart to express, even going to our heads to let the sound resonate.
I always amend my lessons to my students. I make lessons fun and exciting and always encourage a recording after learning a piece. This enables parents to see the progress their child has made throughout the lessons. I will always help an individual show case their talent and grow in both confidence and skills.
I gained both my MMus and BMus (1st Class Hons) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I studied with renowned teachers such as David Takeno and Krysia Ososotowicz. I spent a year studying teaching methods and have since successfully put it into practice, giving lessons to young children and adults, from beginner to advanced.
Both singing and violin lessons will begin with warm-ups in the form of scales and arpeggios. This helps the student to physically warm up and to start thinking about technical aspects of playing or singing. All aspects of the lesson, including the warm-up, will be tailored to the individual. After a warm-up we will have some technical exercises.
I study Violin in year 2 and Psychology year1 now, and I have some time for work extra. The best day for me will be on Wednesday but not only. My goal is to improve self-confidence in your child and develope the skills that God already gived to him.
Violin teaching is about getting into music. I try to get the student to learn pieces they love. Playing the violin isn't about ticking a box, it's about being a musician and playing what you love.
