I create an individual learning plan for each student, based on their specific needs, skills and learning styles. In my classes I’m combining spirit practice beside physical work, it is very important for me that each student will build confident and will feel welcome to practice in its personal rethem . Yoga Nidra , meditation and pranayama practice is something that I love giving to my students when the trast is build between us.
In a private lesson I like to focus all my energy on my students by breaking down the asanas (poses) where needed, teaching elements of yoga philosophy and lots of alignment with gentle pranayama (breath work) reminders. I like to create a safe space where we can laugh at ourselves when we wobble on a balancing pose and push ourselves to strengthen our abilities.
My teaching method is extremely casual. I teach yoga as a form of therapy and self grounding rather than an intense exercise. I teach the importance of breath and understanding your body and not pushing it too far.
Each sequence is delivered in 6 sessions. First few lessons are designed to focus on precision, anatomy and adjustment to individual body’s need at a given time. As the body builds up strength and focus, the pace will be faster leading to vinyasa flow. The emphasis on precision and alignment enhances individual's understanding what their body need at a given time.
I base my teaching on giving the student what they want with a friendly and relaxed approach so that they can really enjoy this time learning with me. I believe in a steady but well paced and organised way of learning which can be adapted to individual needs.
