About Henry
My name is Henry. I am a passionate student of History, who has studied the subject for over five years, garnering a level 7 at GCSE level, despite half a year out of school with a knee injury.
I specialise in British and European history, with a great emphasis on British military history of the nineteenth century. However, I also pride myself on adapting and learning quickly, so as to glean the knowledge required for your success.
With regards to students, is specialise in GCSE level and will happily teach any student with the poise to learn and succeed
Although I may not have a degree, or a doctorate my fervent passion for history is a valuable power that will allow you to for fill your academic mission.

My teaching method is based off of the strategies that were used to elevate me to success: applicable exam skills, coupled with easy to understand historical context enforced through interactive, lecture style lessons that will require you to think and discuss. In addition to teaching historical knowledge, I will also teach you how to construct an essay and communicate effectively - through the use of spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Details
I would ask that students give me 2 hours notice for cancellation.
I would also like to ask that any printing that may be needed for resources be done by the student, so that they are no damaged, or lost. However, I can do any printing if needed.
I also require the student to provide their own stationary.
My first lesson serves as a consultation to ensure that your needs are known and so that I can prepare future lessons.
