About Viane
Playing the violin is a veritable passion for me. I started when I was eight years old and immediately fell in love. The first years are the hardest, but it gets easier with the right teacher. I have played in many tzigane, jazz and classical orchestra in the south of France and have been invited as a soloist in China and Washington. (check it out at 28.45 minutes in the video YouTube link) I started teaching my sister's daughter lessons when I was 15, and it was one of the best decisions I have made. Seeing my students progress makes me feel accomplished and happy.

Perfect! We met up to discuss my specific needs for the lessons and what my goals are with violin. I’m getting back into playing after a long period of not playing at all, so my confidence is quite low. Viane was calm and encouraging, which really helped me. She also reminded me of the importance of having fun playing the violin again, rather than just torturing myself with scales (although I know scales and technique will be important too!). I’m really looking forward to the lessons and to reconnecting with violin again!
Perfect! Viane made me feel very welcome and relaxed as I was quite nervous at the start. With her beautiful music skill and patient approach she explained every step clearly. Viane is an excellent teacher anyone would be privileged to be taught by. I would Highly recommend.

Viane is an incredibly talented violinist and teacher. I just started playing recently as an adult learner and she has helped me progress. I am grateful to be her student.
I’ve known Viane for nearly two years and always found her to be hardworking and excellent at violin.
As someone who played the violin sparingly when i was younger, before forgetting all about the instrument over the next decade, viane was great at helping me find my technique again, as well as giving me tips and help on how to improve the comfort and ability i had whilst playing... in an incredibly friendly manner.
