About Jake
I recently completed my A Level studies and am currently predicted an A* in Accounting. I will be going on to study Finance at Durham University in September, and I’m now looking to share the knowledge and exam techniques I developed during my A Level course.
Having just gone through the full specification and exams, I understand exactly what students need to focus on to improve their grades. I know how challenging Accounting can feel at times, and I aim to make the subject feel clearer, more structured, and more manageable.
Because I have recently studied the current syllabus, I am very familiar with common exam questions, tricky topics, and effective revision strategies. I also achieved strong results in my mocks, which reflect my understanding of the course and exam technique.
I teach AS and A Level Accounting students online and support learners of all abilities, whether they are aiming to pass, improve their grades, or achieve the highest marks.

My lessons are structured, interactive, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on helping students truly understand Accounting rather than memorising content, so they can confidently apply their knowledge in exams.
Because I have recently completed the A Level Accounting course myself and am predicted an A*, I understand exactly what examiners are looking for and where students commonly lose marks. I use this experience to break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-follow steps.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes. A session usually includes a quick review of previous material, clear explanation of a new topic, guided practice using exam-style questions, and focused exam technique advice. I place strong emphasis on applying knowledge to real exam questions, as this is where most students improve their grades the fastest.
Lessons are suitable for AS and A Level Accounting students of all abilities. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for top grades, I adapt my teaching style to match their level and goals. My aim is to build confidence, improve understanding, and maximise exam performance.
