Lessons typically last an hour and are structured around the needs of the students and the methodologies that suit them.
I have a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Westminster and an M.Sc. in Applied Biology from Birkbeck College, University of London. I qualified as a teacher in 2004 and, in the intervening years have taught in the A level Biology and GSCE Chemistry and Physics in mainstream education. I've also taught ecology, experimental techniques and statistical analysis to sixth form, undergraduate and adult age groups. Much of this subject material is mathematical, which is why I feel confident tutoring Maths at GSCE level, something I have been doing since 2017.
