About Van Der
I hold a Master’s degree in Sport Science, which has provided me with an in-depth understanding of human performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. In addition to my academic background, I am a qualified Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer. This combination of advanced theoretical knowledge and practical qualifications allows me to offer targeted, results-driven treatments that support recovery, enhance mobility, and improve overall physical performance for a wide range of clients.

A typical 1-hour sports massage session begins with a brief consultation to assess your medical history, current concerns, and treatment goals. The main massage lasts around 45–50 minutes and is tailored to target specific areas using techniques such as effleurage, petrissage, deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, and assisted stretching. The session focuses on relieving muscle tension, promoting recovery, and enhancing performance. It concludes with post-treatment advice, including feedback, aftercare tips, and recommendations for follow-up. Mild soreness may occur afterwards, but this is normal and part of the healing process.
