About Chisom
Hello, My name is Chisom. I am a dedicated A-level chemistry tutor helping students master core chemistry concepts and build their confidence in answering exam questions.
I initially struggled with A-level chemistry and found the jump from GCSE to A-levels quite overwhelming. But once I focused on exam technique and understood the OCR mark scheme, my grades improved drastically.
My goal is to guide students through the transition and help them improve their grades.

Having recently achieved an A in OCR A chemistry, I am well informed on the knowledge of the specification and specific key words examiners look for. Over the past year, I have tutored GCSE students throughout exam season, helping them master exam techniques.
Now, I specialise in helping Year 12 and 13 students navigate the OCR mark schemes and understand core chemistry concepts. I offer tailored 1-hour online lessons where I focus on the student's weaknesses by helping them understand each topic fully, filling in any knowledge gaps, before guiding them to apply their knowledge to past exam questions. I adapt my lessons to each student's unique learning pace to ensure they fully understand rather than just memorising answers.
