About Isabella
As a young student, I believe I have a strong advantage of being able to easily relate to the student. Having just come out of GCSEs and currently studying English language, this can therefore help me to create a closer bond with the student I would be tutoring as I can understand any sorts of stresses and worries they may be feeling. Additionally, I am a confident and talkative person, and I will use this to thoroughly understand the student to the best of my ability. I am more than happy to teach young children who are consequently struggling with their SPAG (spelling, punctuation, and grammar). These skills that we learn as young children are extremely vital as in secondary school these topics are not covered again, and children are expected to know these "basics". Furthermore, I want to help them nail these skills as they certainly make life in senior school significantly easier. To add to this, I am also completely open to teaching older students who struggle with GCSE English Language. This subject is widely overlooked and pushed aside; however, it is a mandatory subject, and if failed, you have to retake it. This further limits the student's chances of getting into an acceptable college. I am flexible with the timings of lessons, and I will prepare and organise lessons carefully. Helping others who are struggling means so much to me as I know how it is to feel lost and alone. I want to help, I want to see my students succeed and excel in what I have taught them.

I am open to discussing the length of a lesson; however, in general, I am quite flexible to satisfy your needs. My method of teaching is to be expressive, talkative, and friendly as if I am a close friend to them. This may sound strange; however, studies show that it is incredibly important to build trust with your student and for them to be comfortable around me. This way we can be open and honest with each other, and this is the most effective way to progress and succeed. I am able to teach from the ages of 5-16.
