About Oran
I have a first class degree in English Literature at Undergraduate level and also achieved a Distinction in my Master's in Literary Studies.
At A-Level I achieved AAB in English, Music and Maths, respectively.
A majority of my marks at University have also been First Class.
I have also served as the News Editor for the Gown, the historic, student-run newspaper at QUB.
I am extremely passionate about my subject and would love the opportunity to use this in order to help other students not currently attaining their desired marks, whether due to lack of interest or lack of understanding.

I offer lessons to improve fundamental areas like clarity of written expression, grammar, vocabulary and comprehension in order to refine student's capacity to respond to questions in a coherent and focused manner.
Additionally, with regards to tutoring Literature, I believe an approach that is more specifially tailored to the needs of the student is appropriate. These classes would consist primarily of close readings and textual analyses of the texts that they are currently studying with a view towards enabling students to better understand how rhetorical devices and language are employed by writers.
Both of these approaches assist the student's general exam technique and help to ensure that their written responses to questions will be more lucid, informed and relevant throughout.
