About Max
A* A-level Politics graduate, school Politics Prize winner, and two-time First Class student at the University of Liverpool — currently on a merit-based scholarship at the University of South Carolina. I combine academic excellence with the discipline of a university-level boxer and rugby player to deliver focused, results-driven tutoring. My approach is structured, encouraging, and built around what actually works in the exam room.
By combining genuine passion for the subject with first-hand knowledge of what it takes to reach the top grades, I believe any student can develop a thorough and lasting understanding of Politics. My sessions are structured, targeted, and built around the specific demands of the A* grade boundary — so every lesson moves you forward with purpose and precision.

A* in A-level Politics. School Politics Prize — awarded on results alone. Two years into my Politics & Philosophy degree at the University of Liverpool, with First Class marks across every single module.
I'm also heading to the University of South Carolina on a scholarship this year — a programme reserved for the highest-performing students.
Outside academics, I compete as a boxer and rugby player for the University of Liverpool — so I know what it takes to perform under pressure, whether that's in an exam hall or on a pitch.
