Literature teaching is layered so I define my style by working through the contextual details of a text, followed by working through the plot, author's intent, reader's sentiment and finally how any messages within a piece are delivered and why. I think there has to be room for discussion within analysing a text and both teacher and student should be prepared to have their opinions challenged.
I am a lover of literature, obtaining A* at A Level, offering classes in Literature to students who would like some extra help and guidance with their studies. I am an avid reader and will happily discuss, outline, and analyse texts and help students develop critical and analytical skills of a text.
I’m hardworking and determined which naturally means being punctual and precise are skills in which I take pride. I like to work in ways that allow me to be sociable and I find work with impact satisfying and worthwhile. I enjoy communicating and working across cultures, languages, and communities; tolerance, interest, and concern are aspects of my work ethic that I highly respect.
