1st session: I go through the relevant syllabus with the student and assess what needs to be done
Then we methodically revise the topics
Traditionally I set a test every three topics (e.g. for macroeconomics it would be aggregate demand, long-run aggregate supply and short-run aggregate supply). I will mark this test in my own time to maximise teaching availability for the student.
This structure is flexible, meaning the amount of time take to go through a topic can be modified based on the students needs. It is also extremely efficient; you will find tutors on this platform that just prescribe reading and dictate the lesson without any participation from the student. This is anachronistic, lazy and bores everyone.
