About Drishith
I'm a recent Year 13 student with a strong academic background in mathematics and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others succeed. I am predicted 4 A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, and achieved a TMUA score of 7.8/9.0 and a TARA Problem Solving score of 9.0/9.0.
Because I have recently completed the same courses and admissions tests, I understand both the content and the challenges students face. I know which topics are most difficult, the common mistakes students make, and the problem-solving techniques needed to perform well in both A Levels and university admissions assessments.
Alongside my studies, I volunteered for two years with Aylesbury Youth Action, working on website development projects for local charities. This experience strengthened my communication skills and taught me the importance of explaining technical ideas clearly and patiently.
My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to think independently. Whether you're looking to improve your confidence in A-Level Maths and Further Maths or prepare for the TMUA or TARA, I will work with you to help you achieve your goals.

I tailor each lesson to the student's current level and learning style. My focus is on developing a strong understanding of the underlying concepts rather than simply memorising methods. I encourage students to think through problems step by step so they can confidently tackle unfamiliar questions, which is especially important for A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and university admissions tests.
Lessons are typically one hour long, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. We usually begin by reviewing any topics the student has found challenging before working through carefully selected questions together. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, problem-solving strategies and avoiding common mistakes.
Having recently completed A Levels myself, I have first-hand experience of the current specifications and the university admissions process. I achieved a TMUA score of 7.8/9.0 and a TARA Problem Solving score of 9.0/9.0, so I understand the style of thinking and preparation these assessments require.
My lessons are suitable for students studying A-Level Mathematics, A-Level Further Mathematics, as well as those preparing for the TMUA or TARA admissions tests. Whether you're aiming to improve your understanding of the course, achieve top grades, or strengthen your problem-solving skills for university applications, lessons will be adapted to your individual goals.

Drishith and I both did Decision 1 for Edexcel Further Maths. He frequently aided me with difficult topics by showing me very straightforward approaches and explaining them in ways I hadn't previously thought of. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a tutor!
Drishith has helped me throughout my A-level process, especially in understanding the concepts behind Decision 1 Further Maths and its relevant modules. The way he carefully constructed his advice to be concise yet meaningful efficiently conveyed the information, allowing for maximal learning as a direct result of his aid. I strongly recommend him for any mathematical help.
I know Drishith through school, and he helped me during exams whenever I had a doubt with any question. He was very patient, which allowed me to feel comfortable asking for help. He always explained the question thoroughly and in ways I could understand, which I appreciated. He is very encouraging and a good tutor.
I know Drishith because he helped me prepare for the TMUA, and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. What I appreciated most about his teaching was that he never just gave me the answers. Instead, he guided me through each problem, asking the right questions and helping me work things out for myself, which made everything stick much better. He has a way of breaking down really complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, and he even made notes that I still go back to because they’re so clear. He was always incredibly patient and never made me feel judged, even when I got things completely wrong. Instead, he would explain where I’d gone wrong and help me understand how to approach the question differently. We spent a lot of time working through challenging TMUA-style questions together, and he was always sending me useful resources and finding difficult practice questions that pushed me to improve. Thanks to his help, I became much more confident in my problem-solving and felt far better prepared for the exam. He’s genuinely supportive, knowledgeable, and really cares about helping his students succeed. I’d recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a Maths tutor.
Drishith is an extremely capable tutor, who explains things clearly and with confidence. He helped me with difficult concepts in further maths, especially in the Edexcel Decision 1 and Further Core Pure 1 modules.
I went to school with Drishith for many years and is a very good teacher. I would often help me with questions I would struggle with and make sure that I not only knew what the answer was but how to solve it so I could solve others which were similar. This greatly improved my ability in maths and allowed me to progress well in the course.
Learning with Drishth is both reassuring and motivating. He takes the time to understand each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, delivering lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to individual needs. His approachable nature and consistent encouragement help students develop confidence, build resilience, and achieve results they can be proud of, making him a tutor that both students and parents can trust.
