About Rachel
I am a Student at Esher College currently studying Maths, English Literature and Drama. I have just finished my GCSE's so am beginning to tutor young kids. I got a Grade 7 in my Maths GCSE, 6 in English Lit and 7 in English Language and 7's in science also. I'm always ready to help out my classmates, younger year groups and my younger brother in homework and studies. I am adaptable to travel to your house, I'm a great traveller so there shouldn't be distances I'm not ready to travel.

I see learning as something to enjoy, a new challenge, a new opportunity; maths is my favourite subject because there is always an answer and always a solution that any one can understand as long as they put their mind to it. I believe in asking the child whom is learning what they would like to focus on, what they find particularly difficult. I would then prepare for a session proving the child with worksheets and live demonstrations to grant them all the information they need. I provide 30 minutes to 1 hour weekly sessions, depending on how much attention your child needs. The main goal out of my sessions is that the child understands the work and learns something new. Maths is pure practice and practice is fun!
