About Trina
I want to teach because I genuinely believe in the power of understanding and enjoying math. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping students break through challenges and discover that math isn’t as daunting as it might seem. I’m passionate about guiding each student toward those “aha” moments, where complex ideas suddenly click, and they feel capable and inspired. Teaching lets me share my love for math in a way that builds confidence and skills that will benefit students far beyond the classroom. My goal is to make math accessible and empowering for everyone I work with.

As a private tutor, my approach focuses on making math relatable, enjoyable, and truly understandable. I tailor each session to your unique learning style and pace, breaking down complex concepts into simple, engaging explanations. I believe in creating a comfortable environment where questions are encouraged, and I build confidence through practice and real-world examples. My goal is not just to help you improve your grades but to develop a deeper understanding and lasting appreciation for math, empowering you to approach any problem with confidence and skill.

I highly recommend Trina as a maths tutor. She has a real talent for explaining concepts in a way that’s easy to understand, no matter the student’s age or ability. She’s calm, friendly, and creates a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I’ve seen how well she connects with both primary and secondary pupils—she’s patient, encouraging, and always well-prepared. Any student would be lucky to have her support on their maths journey.
