About Maia Phoenix
Having studied psychology myself, I know that every student learns differently which is why I aim to get to know the individual and how they prefer to learn, and what challenges they face individually. Psychological concepts can be hard to grasp at times, but I have picked up many tips and tricks throughout my education which help to simplify these whilst also memorising studies to reference, as well as useful structures to use for essay based examinations.

My preferred teaching technique is interactive and visual. I will often provide small tasks throughout the lesson to ensure engagement and understanding.
I have a decent amount of experience tutoring psychology to students beginning their A-Level examinations in Dubai (where I moved from) and am confident in tailoring lessons to suit the students' syllabus and preferred learning methods.
