I am currently in my second year of a Psychology Degree at University of Kent, my grade average is a first and I have previously worked for a children's charity, where I helped children from a variety of backgrounds. I would be available to tutor a student at either A-Level or GCSE Level. I would start my lessons by asking students questions to ascertain what they already know, then the first half of the session would be dedicated to learning theory, which helps them develop the basic knowledge necessary to get a good mark. In the second half of the session we would work on learning about specific research pieces and case studies, and how to evaluate them. Having a good combination of theory and research creates a well rounded essay- enabling students access to the highest marks.
I have an A-Level in Psychology where I attained an A grade, and I am currently a second year Psychology student at University of Kent, where I average a first class mark. I have experience working with children and young people at charities and within an NHS mental health ward.
