About Safa
Hi! My name is Safa, and I am a recent A Level psychology tutor who achieved an A* in psychology. Ever since I started psychology, I have immensely enjoyed the subject, especially understanding what affects real-life behaviour. I decided to start tutoring as I know how stressful and overwhelming A Levels can feel, and I want to help other students feel confident before sitting their exams. Having previously mentored students before, I found it very rewarding to be able to explain difficult concepts in simple ways and see their confidence grow. My goal as a tutor is to strengthen your understanding and exam technique, so you have the knowledge and confidence to perform your best in your exams.

I teach AQA A Level Psychology online, ensuring my lessons are tailored to meet each student's needs. Having achieved an A* in psychology myself, I understand exactly what the examiners are looking for, and can break down each complex topic into simple explanations. Additionally, since I achieved high marks in all my essay questions, I am able to provide advice on how to structure the essays, separating AO1 and AO3. In my lessons, I will provide clear explanations of key theories and definitions for AO1 and key evaluation points for AO3. I will also ensure that we leave time at the end of each lesson for some practice questions, which will receive live feedback - so that you feel confident in what has been learnt in the lesson. My lessons are interactive and student-led, so you can ask questions at any point, and I'll focus on the areas you find most challenging, so that your learning is personalised and effective. I offer either 1 or 2 hour lessons and I'll pre-prepare the lessons beforehand so lesson time is used productively.
