About Lucy

My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and confident in their ability to reach those top grades!

As a teacher, I pride myself on being approachable, patient and supportive. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and making mistakes without feeling judged.

About the lesson

Whether you want to build confidence, consolidate classroom learning or work towards achieving your target grade, I aim to make Psychology accessible, enjoyable and rewarding.

I am an enthusiastic and approachable A-Level Psychology teacher and Head of Department, with a degree in Psychology and Sociology and a PGCE in teaching.

I currently teach A-Level Psychology and have a strong understanding of the AQA specification, curriculum and examination requirements.

I offer personalised online and in-person tutoring, tailored to each student’s individual needs. My lessons are engaging and interactive, focusing on developing subject knowledge, understanding key psychological theories and studies, strengthening essay-writing skills and improving exam technique.
