About Haozhen
Hi, I’m Haozhen, a current A-level student studying Maths, Physics and Economics. I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and Further Maths, and I’m currently predicted A* in Maths and Physics.
I know what it feels like to struggle with Maths. Just one month before my GCSE exams, I was still achieving a Grade 6 in my mocks. Through hard work, focused revision and learning how to approach questions effectively, I managed to work my way up to a Grade 9.
I ALSO know what it feels like to fall behind while others seem ahead. I dropped Further Maths because I struggled with the fast pace, while some students had already learned content during the holidays.
Being behind DOESN'T mean you’re not capable. I want to help students build confidence, strengthen their foundations, and stay ahead academically — so they can stop comparing themselves to others and start believing in what they can achieve and capable of.

Friendly, patient and exam-focused Maths tutoring for GCSE and younger students.
I’m an Upper Sixth student with multiple experience mentoring younger students and supporting Maths learning at schools for volunteer.
My lessons focus on understanding concepts, building confidence and improving exam technique. I adapt each lesson to the student's needs, whether that's catching up on difficult topics, preparing for exams or working through challenging questions.
