About Mawgan
I am an A level student who has taught at many levels beforehand, including KS2 and KS3. I have done courses in Education itself, and I have a full set of 9s at GCSE. I’ve worked with students with special educational needs, and I have been able to take a student’s maths abilities from low confidence to being in the ‘top’ group!

I am capable of working with many level and class sizes, and whilst I lay out a set of aims for the session, if something arises organically it is usually worth pursuing. I’m an understanding face open to all types of learner, and I prefer to use interactive methods, such as speaking, discussing and using games and diagrams to engage learners - I find that lecturing or dictation very rarely works, and my job is both to build enthusiasm and to address needs in a subject.
