I am a tennis nut and general sports enthusiast who has seen first hand through the work I have done working with Tower Hamlets Tennis the difference sports makes to a young person's life.
I have played at a very high level, playing for Middlesex County as a teenager and am now passionate about helping people improve in the sport.

About the lesson

The lessons are usually around an hour and we will work on all of the major elements to the game. Forehand, Backhand, Volleys and the dreaded Serve.
There is a focus on learning technique through hitting the ball and rallying as much as possible. I believe it is better to refine through the process of playing rather than drills.
I am a level 2 Tennis coach and currently getting my level 3. I have been coaching for 5 years and have a passion for taking intermediate players to the next level.

Perfect! I improved a lot in just one lesson with James. The lesson was a mixture of drills and rally which is great for targeted practice. Very enthusiastic and encouraging. Highly recommend!
Perfect! Very happy with the couple of lessons I've had so far. My three big points of endorsement:
1- Extremely professional in dealings and coordination around classes.
2- His passion for tennis and seeing improvement in others shines through and motivates the student
3-His teaching style seems natural, non- prescriptive but needs significant talent for teaching to deliver - he is very observant on your movement and technique and feeds back to you, articulating super well. This also makes you self-aware and more independent in the sport.
