About Jeeyshan
I am currently a WCGS (Wallington County Grammar School) student that is currently studying A - Level Chemistry, Maths and Biology. I want to teach 11+ students because I do not want them to go through the struggle that I went through during 11+ and during GCSEs; it was a painful and rough journey for me and I do not wish that for other students, which is why I would love to teach them in order for them to go to the 11+ confident, as well as go to their dream secondary school. I cannot assure that students will pass the 11+, but they will if they give the right mindset during my lessons and give effort into their lessons.

To start off, I usually use a method called 'Absorb, Apply and Correct'. This method is very efficient during 11+ and can help them improvise and gain knowledge quickly. This cuts down the time of forcing their brain to intake information and just gets straight to the point. They absorb a bit of information for 2 minutes, tell me what they know of that 2 minutes and if understood correctly, move into the next phase. This next phase is the 'Apply' which is where they try some questions ranking from easy to hard. Then he/ she can move to the final phase which is the 'Correct' phase where the student corrects their mistakes. May sound simple enough but effort is required in order to reach these level ups; think of it like a game.
My explanation is tailored to their understanding, and doubts or any questions can be freely asked.
The typical length will be 1 hour 30 minutes (starting off with some recap for 10 minutes, 20 minutes of maths / English, 20 minutes of English / maths, a 5 minute break and then 20 minutes of exam practice for either English or maths with the last 5 minutes being some corrections and going through their answers).
I add this break so that they do not force a lot of information but rather retain it for the 5 minutes and just relax.
I have had experience in teaching GCSE biology students in WCGS (Wallington County Grammar School) and understand the levels of each year group and what explanations are tailored to their level.
I have also had numerous tutors with pricey tags that just try to breeze through the content; most of the time it is just me trying to self-study to catch up to them again (basically a repetition of school). I have also understood, from my field of view just use AI to get the work done, which I realised later on. By studying with me, I can assure you that the students I will teach will not have any use of AI resources and by giving them face to face lessons they will understand the content more.
These lessons are for the ages between year 5 and year 6 and must know what content they are studying, which is why I recommend coming with a list for the doubts the student has.
