About Marte
I am Marte O. Ladion, a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) graduate, Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT), and TEFL-certified educator with over 32 years of overall teaching experience in both public and private schools. Specializing in elementary Mathematics, I have also served as a dedicated and patient Math tutor for more than 10 years, guiding students toward academic success and self-confidence.
Throughout my career as a DepEd Teacher II and MTAP Gold Medalist coach, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to educational excellence. I believe that every learner moves at their own pace, which is why patience is at the heart of my teaching approach. My extensive experience allows me to quickly identify learning gaps, adapt my instruction to different learning styles, and maintain a calm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn from mistakes.
Whether helping students master foundational arithmetic, overcome math anxiety, or prepare for advanced competitive exams, I maintain high professional standards, clear communication, and a supportive, structured framework where every student can thrive.

My approach is structured and learner-centered. We first identify what the learner already knows, determine important learning gaps, and then provide targeted instruction based on the learner’s needs.
The learning process follows:
