About Holey
I am a Licensed Professional Teacher and a BS Mathematics graduate with over five years of teaching experience. I have taught students from different age groups and backgrounds, both in classroom and online settings. I have experience teaching English to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean students, as well as tutoring American students online in both English/ELA and Mathematics from 2024 to 2026.
I have also worked as a classroom teacher for elementary and high school students. Beyond regular teaching, I have served as a Math Department Head, club adviser, sports coach, and competition/match coach. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work with different types of learners and adjust my teaching strategies according to their needs.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and actively participating in lessons. I aim to make every lesson engaging while helping students develop confidence and achieve their academic goals.
