About Laura
I have a Bachelor of Education, and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Fashion Design. I'm experienced in pattern drafting, sewing and construction, as well as illustration and the design process. I have a Certificate in Teaching English as a second language, and have taught fashion workshops to students with minimal English who were able to achieve success

I base my class on where students are, and tailor them to where they need to be. The art industry has a spectrum of skills and I hope to be able to focus students on what interests them, but also push them to try other portions of fashion. Being able to try something new will usually make us better at what we're most passionate about!
