About Erin
Growing up, I truly struggled with school and it wasn't something that came easily to me. As I went through school, I was inspired by multiple teachers to never give up and they were a support system that I truly needed. I decided to become a teacher to help and support all students, but especially those who need that extra push, inspiration, extra time to dig in and so much more. Being a teacher has been so rewarding and I want to continue sharing my passion with other students who need just a little more assistance.

For me, teaching is done best by being hands on! Watching, listening and doing just isn't enough. When learning something, especially something new, being able to be hands on gives the lesson new meaning and helps with personal retention of material.
Lessons should be taught in short, but precise time periods with lots of real world examples and connections so it is easier to comprehend, retain and use often. As a tutor, I love getting a chance to watch students grow in their academics and gaining a new confidence in themselves.
