About Alison
I am a third year student at University at Toronto. Majoring in Fundamental Genetics but life sciences is just one of my fields of interest. I sing, dance and love scenic arts and poetry. I taught spanish to a fellow student at U of T for three weeks. I have learned some teaching techniques from my father who is an english teacher and I have helped him prepare some classes.

Spanish
The method I use is more practical than technical. I teach grammar by using common expressions as examples rather than memorizing rules, although some memorizarion is needed. I like to explain everything in English until the student understands the language fairly well. I imcorporate some common Spanish expression while explaining so the student gets familiar with the language. If the student wants, we can talk in Spanish.
