About Patrick
I am a bilingual professional living in the Seattle area. I hold a dual Bachelors in Spanish and English from Central Washington University, where I also completed an undergraduate thesis on translation in poetry. I've studied abroad in Bilbao, Spain during my undergraduate studies and served as the official departmental tutor for CWU during my time there. I have experience in the legal and medical fields, where I have worked for the last five years. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Teaching through my alma mater.

You can expect me to be direct and empathetic. I did not learn Spanish or writing overnight, and you don't have to either! I want to meet students where they are and help them build (or rebuild) skills to meet their goals. My typical client is a high school or college student struggling to master language (sound like you?). I have had tremendous success helping students with AP Exams for Spanish, English Language, and English Literature, as well as professional and academic writing.
My strategy is this: establish your baseline skills, create realistic goals for improvement, and work together with you to make a plan to get you there.
