About Dearbhla
I have a strong interest in languages (I am currently learning Japanese and Portuguese) and I hope to pursue a career in fiction translation. As someone who recently completed the Leaving Cert, I understand how stressful it can be and how beneficial it is to have someone with the same experience to make the amount of workload more manageable. I received help from a tutor in other subjects myself and it made a huge difference, and I would love to give back as a tutor now myself! I know that everyone has different ways of learning and so I will make sure that each lesson is tailored to your needs in a supportive environment. I love using quizzes and flashcards and different methods which you can easily incorporate into your daily routine to improve your Spanish in an exam-focused, yet fun way. I am happy to work with people who have previously studied Spanish, people who, like myself, started learning Spanish for the Leaving Cert or people who just want to learn Spanish for fun. I really enjoy teaching and sharing my passion with other people, so please reach out to me with any questions or concerns!
