About Harry
Through my study of both Linguistics and Psychology, I have been fascinated by language both as an artifact of human culture and a cognitive capacity. Teaching engages all of these areas of interest in a dynamic, social, and creative fashion. Far from becoming impatient when students are struggling, I enjoy the opportunity to engage with different approaches to language, and have experience teaching ESL students of many different ages and capacities.

I absolutely love language and believe everyone deserves to be empowered by their literacy.
My approach to language emphasises context- the people and circumstances of meaning-making- as a primary determinant of language, as evidenced in grammar.
My lessons equip students to not only engage with language through a critical lens, but to effectively apply the tools of language to create their desired meaning, with respect to the audience and content at hand.
