I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Language and Linguistics. I have volunteered in schools and after-school programs, teaching ESL, including speaking, writing, and reading comprehension. I have also tutored for the SAT and TOEFL, focusing especially on the verbal and writing, generating scores that are of high standard.

My teaching methodology is very much student-based. Whatever teaching method and curriculum I might have prepared beforehand, it will easily be scrapped if it doesn't fit the needs of the student. I'd like to first get to know the person I'm teaching, see what their strengths and weaknesses are, and then I'll go from there.
