About Beth
I worked in a secondary school, as an English tutor, for a year and a half. I absolutely loved teaching students and seeing their academic success. Additionally, it was very fulfilling to witness their confidence grow. After working at the school, I decided to take a few months off to travel the world. After exploring Australia, adventuring through Thailand, and experiencing Singapore, I am eager and excited to continue my career as an English tutor.

I have experience working 1:1 with KS3/KS4, as well as teaching classes of up to 12 pupils. I have tutored GCSE Literature and Language, as well as spoken language assessments. Texts we have studied include Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Poetry (including unseen, love/relationships, and power/conflict), An Inspector Calls, Romeo and Juliet, Animal Farm, and many more. I have also tutored KS3 students for literacy, reading, writing, and spoken language assessments. I have tutored both in person classes, and online sessions.
