About Alex
I have studied English Literature at GCSE and A-level, most recently achieving an A*at A-level last year. I now study Applied Theatre at drama school in Liverpool with my hope being to bring theatre to a wider audience of people who do not normally have access. I continue to use the analytical skills I learnt from english literature especially in my directing roles when looking at plays; both modern and classical (meaning I have a good understanding of Shakespeare.) I continue to use my A-level essay structure consistently and it never lets me down.

My lessons centre around your syllabus and what you need from me in the most enjoyable way I can find. I will take ideas from you on how you enjoy learning and build this into lesson plans. I am currently a student at drama school but maintain a passion for literature so enjoy incorporating more creative methods into my tutoring which I find much more effective than a standard classroom approach. I will also teach you my ‘fool proof’ essay writing structure which will save you time in exams by allowing you yo solely focus on the content and not how you have to write it.
