About Julian
With over 20 years of professional experience from DJ-ing to hosting events and events production around the world, I've seen it all!
Being self-taught has allowed me to explore a whole range of music styles and technical skills to really be creative in an ever-growing scene. If you have a particular style you wanted to learn, I can focus in on that.
I've run DJ studios in the past and helped beginners grow into respectable artists in their scenes.
I am still fully active in the music scene and happy to share any tips and tricks that I can.

Learn on your own setup! Whatever you've got, I will assess it and get your kit sounding as good as it can be or advise you on what you can do to improve it.
I'm known to be a patient and easy to understand teacher with many years' experience. If you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your technical skills, I've got you covered. I'm 100% self-taught so you won't be hearing any music jargon from me, just easy to understand instructions that will be tailored to you.

I highly recommend Julian as a DJ tutor. He is dedicated to music, and his technical skills are spot on. He knows decks inside out and is a very kind and thoughtful person. Even though I was nervous, he tailored my lessons for exactly where I was at and explained everything in a way that I could understand. He taught me how to set up my decks properly so they work well and even got my dodgy speaker working for me. He's very relatable and clearly enjoys helping people. He also has a massive music library and gave me a few new recommendations that are now some of my favorite tunes. Just happy to learn the basics and I can get started on my own.
