About Nel
I'm a first year Philosophy student at Glasgow Uni. I've travelled across many countries when I was younger and can speak Russian, Kazakh, besides French and English. From a very young age, I've been able to absorb new languages very quickly and have many tips and tricks for people who are struggling with learning new languages. Besides that, I love helping others learn new things. Other than teaching younger students French, I've helped students struggling with Maths in secondary school, and did a semester of doing supplementary formal logic lessons at uni for my philosophy module

- My lessons are generally catered towards students who have no or very limited understanding of the French language
- I try to stimulate my students by providing a variety of teaching styles to see what works best for them - and after each lesson I have a short debrief to see what works and doesn't work with them
- typical length of a lesson is usually 45mins-1H. This allows us to do quality work instead of doing longer lessons which often overstimulates students by overloading them with information
- In terms of my qualifications, I have an A+ in brevet (which is the French equivalent of GCSEs in England), have done French mentoring with younger students, and studied in France for 6 years
