As local Hong Kongnese, I do enjoy sharing Chinese cultures and teaching it to others. I am flexible in topics of teaching. It can be according to a system from a book or it can be freeflow with daily items.
I am hoping that I will be able to study Art therapy as my master in future. Before getting a master degree, I would like to get more experiences and involves in teaching. I want to use art to communicate and let children learn to express themselves. Arts is definitely a healing media. Apart from teaching crafts lesson, I believe through teaching arts, I am able to let children discover who they are and know more about themselves. Therefore no matter in Arts or Chinese as a language, I hope to engage more with my students.
I graduated from University of Arts London, Bachelor of Arts in Costume for Performance, Central Saints Martins for design foundation and Christs's Hospital College for A-level. My hometown is in Hong Kong, I came over to UK for over seven years. Recently started the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (RQF) course.
I do have a background working with creative industry, engaging the audience with workshops or events and teaching 3-7 years old drawing. I had also been to Thailand for the past few summers to get involves children and woman with education and arts. Recently worked in Hong Kong for the World Cultures Festival - Vibrant Africa as an assistant for 3 months.
