About Lloyd
I have over 15 years' experience working in mobile and web development, having worked with global brands like RedBull, Motorola, adidas, Comic Relief, Ubisoft, Three, Cadbury and Specsavers. For the last 2 years I have also been teaching primary and secondary students in the fields of computer programming and robotics, covering subjects like Scratch, Javascript, Lego Robotics and 3D printing. I believe the best introduction to programming and robotics is through practical applications. So that might be programming a computer game or building a robotic arm. The project should present enough challenges that encourages students to problem solve which cements the concepts to memory once it has been worked through. I teach a variety of subjects and as every child learns in different ways I adjust lessons to the level of the student which we can discuss before we meet. I can help pupils who are just starting out through to more professional help, e.g., preparing for portfolios or industry requirements.

Perfect! He’s really calm and thorough taking the time to explain things so that even someone with no experience of coding can understand how to build a website.
Perfect! Lloyd is great. Although based in England he’s been helping my son with SQA higher computing and is great at explaining how codes work and why the changes are done to fix code that isn’t quite working. My son is loving the classes and Lloyd makes someone already engaged in the subject love it even more. We are impresssed and would highly recommend Lloyd to anyone keen to learn more.

Lloyd is an excellent tutor; he has been doing online coding lessons with our son for several years - the lessons have grown as our son has! Lloyd quickly built a good rapport with our son; he is knowledgable, patient, kind, funny, and a clear communicator. Would thoroughly recommend him to others.
Lloyd has been. tutoring our son for 3 years now. His patience and knowledge has taken our son from nervous 11 year old to 14 year old computer science GCSE a year early.
In short Lloyd is brilliant and can work with beginners or more advanced students tailoring his programme to meet their needs.
