About Rachel
Rachel completed her Architecture BA degree at the Canterbury School of Architecture, receiving First class Honours and the Purcell Prize. Her dissertation on immateriality in architecture received A* (First Class Honours) also. Recently, she completed her Masters of Architecture degree at the Royal College of Art. Here dissertation on the domestic spaces of Hong Kong and the UK and her most recent essay on hysteria and the domestic space was highly commended. She has spent several years proofreading essays for those with English as their second language.
Previous tuition in English, five years of architectural education and two years in practice has provided vast amounts experience in writing, reading, conversing and presenting. She would love to help those out who may struggle with some of these aspects, particularly those with English as their second language or are in lower primary education.

Rachel is a London-based designer and researcher, whose work spans across multiple disciplines from architecture to performance, materials science and curation. She spent two years from 2013-2015 tutoring English at year 8, year 4, year 3, year 1 and nursery level. During her undergraduate and masters degrees in architecture, her dissertations and essays received first class honours and were highly commended.
Each lesson is specific to the individual and will be tailored to the individuals needs and stage. Lessons will predominantly be done through Zoom; through face-to-face discussions or screen sharing. Whether you require help in specific areas of English or would simply like to have conversations to develop your English, i'm here to help!
