London based Bachata and Salsa teacher - BEGINNER/IMP Levels for Lead and Following

Jessica has been teaching my girlfriend and I salsa for a couple a few months now. She’s flexible, patient, makes us feel like we are progressing, and gives us real constructive criticism.

She’s a damn good salsa dancer/teacher. She knows both the leader and follower roles and has a keen eye for finding where we make mistakes with certain moves.

If you’re trying to learn to dance salsa, bachata or any of Latin style of dance- she’s the teacher for you.

I've been having Salsa lessons with Jessica, which have been fantastic as she is a great teacher. I am an absolute beginner, but after only a few lessons I have already stopped looking at my feet and am really enjoying building on our moves each week. Jessica is big on technique and is making sure that I know how to lead correctly. It's great dancing with her and feeling that Im making steady progress. I would highly recommend!

Have had 2 sessions with Jessica and enjoyed both of them and still booking for more. She is very talented and has expert knowledge on both Bachata and Salsa. My sessions with her are most importantly fun while also focusing on technique.

Jessica has been my tutor for quite a few lessons now and she is highly knowledgeable and experienced, this really shows in her lessons. So patient with me and amazing at verbally explaining all the moves and physically demonstrating all the elements.

Jessica is the most loveliest and kindest person, she is super caring and very patient. Always takes the time to explain and goes over and over the steps as many times as you need! Jess is an absolute amazing dancer and will teach you soo much, different techniques, footwork, hip movement, anything you want and need to know, she will show you and you will become an amazing dancer just like her with her help, support and guidance. Wouldn’t want to be taught by anyone else! Anyone would be lucky to meet Jessica and be taught by her!

Jessica is easy to approach, friendly, patient, caring, organised & has a kind personality.
No single learning style fits every student. Jessica is always willing to adapt to show you the dance move, if you are struggling & ask for assistance. Or as feedback to improve / perfect the dance move.
Jessica has also gone above and beyond by creating a YouTube channel: "Rumba Latina UK" @rumbalatinauk for students of the dance class as a visual aid to practice outside class too.

Jess is a fantastic instructor. Very patient, which I needed loads of, and knowledgeable about dance. Makes the instruction super fun and personalises to fit what you good at and what needs work (which for me is alot). She provides music, videos and homework so you have plenty to learn from even after leaving class. Very happy to have found Jess and looking forward the continuing to work with her to improve my salsa.

Jessica is a professional and friendly Bachata/Salsa teacher. Her lessons are super fun, and even if you are a total beginner, she will immediately put you at ease! She will go through the basics steps with you and proceed to more complex movements, all while keeping it fun and relaxed! I never danced a single step in my entire life and Jessica managed the impossible by making me want to dance even more! I couldn’t recommend a better teacher for your next lesson!

Jessica is an incredible dance instructor!
She has been amazing at communicating (quick responder) and incredibly kind as well.
She was also a wonderful instructor to a class of around 30 students, ensuring everyone was following along and understood the steps, as well as keeping everyone engaged with the class.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is thinking of learning bachata or salsa for the first time, or even people who have danced before!

I had a wonderful and enjoyable time learning Salsa with Jessica, and highly recommend taking classes with her. I bought my first lesson as a gift to surprise my partner, and Jessica made it an unforgettable special experience for us both. She was incredibly patient with us, who are just beginners with two left feet, and explained the techniques so well we improved so much in a short period of time. She’s so passionate about the style, and we walked away with a greater appreciation of the culture and are filled with excitement to continue practising!

From my classes with Jessica I found that She has multiple qualities that make her a great tutor/instructor:
1) she's very patient and happy to start with the very basics
2) she’s got couple of techniques to teach if one doesn’t work for me she would try another one that works
3) Great at communicating and engaging
4) Shes flexible at scheduling or amending classes
5) Most importantly she’s simply really great at Salsa! She’s got in-depth knowledge and very passionate about it!

I can’t recommend Jessica highly enough. I always leave our classes beaming. She’s an excellent dancer, and as such she has the knowledge to really explain the steps in a way I can understand. She patient, never makes you feel silly when you make a mistake and makes you feel great when you get it right. I shall continue our lessons for as long as I can before I leave for South America.

Jessica is a great teacher. I started my journey with Bachata and she has been a great mentor for moves, styling technicalities and understanding music & dance form.
