I always begin with establishing the goals and needs of my student through dialogue. From there, I create a fitting structure comprised of material such as clips, charts, diagrams, songs and explanations. I have an attentive teaching style as I at all times try to tune in to the perspective of my student to optimise the learning process. Through this method, we can tackle any topic on an intermediate level (and some on advances) while keeping it fun!
I've been studying music full time for 6 years, focusing on all-round genre knowledge, music theory and performance. Starting out with acoustic fingerstyle (Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee, Antoine Dufour, originals), I eventually moved to the electric guitar, favouring jazz, blues and funk. The guitar is an amazing expressive tool, and I truly live for that exhilarating rush of feeling free with my instrument. I am at the moment studying film scoring, another passion of mine, at London College of Music. Furthermore, I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of teaching and have had 3 personal students so far!
