About Gal
Having first taught English in Germany at 17, I recently decided to turn my passion for teaching into a career and retrained as an English as a Foreign Language teacher. Before retraining, I spent two years studying French and German at King's College London, and I have spent the past few years working in communications and volunteer management roles at a number of well-known UK charities.

I adopt a student-centred approach, adapting my lesson plans and curricula to help you achieve your English goals.
Before each lesson, I'll send you materials to work on before we meet to help you to get familiar with the topic we'll be covering. We'll then go through these materials and the language point they raise in more detail in our lesson, during which we'll mostly be speaking (as it's harder to practise speaking English on your own). To make this possible, the software we'll use allows me to send the whiteboard slides we use in the lesson to you at the end of each lesson, so you won't have to worry about taking too many notes.
At the end of each lesson, I'll set you a short task to complete before we next meet to reinforce your understanding of the language point we've covered. And don't worry: if you have any questions at all, you can always email me!
